French Serpentine Buffet
Custom designed and made, this French serpentine buffet showcases a classic design with fine hand-carved details and features. Its serpentine shape flows through the side doors and top, making it a timeless addition to any dining table setting. Elegantly finished in a two-tone white and blue painted finish, it features a polished oak top with a beautiful basket-weave parquetry inlay — a perfect example of refined sideboards cabinets that blend function with artistry.
Each Australian-made buffet is custom designed to a premium level of quality and finish. Dimensions, parquetry design, colour, level of ageing, and finish of our high-end furniture can all be custom made to your specific requirements, making it one of the most elegant statement pieces for sophisticated interiors.

Furniture begins long before it reaches the workshop. It begins with an idea, a sketch and a vision for how a piece should live within a space. At Mark Alexander Design Artistry, that vision is carried through from concept and design to manufacture and final finish, bringing interior design and furniture making together under one roof.
Our parquetry dining tables, sideboards and bookcases are available in modern, contemporary and traditional expressions, with each piece custom made to its setting. A selection of premium timbers including American Ash, European Oak, Walnut, Australian Oak, Tasmanian Oak, American Oak, Mahogany and Blackbutt Australian Native allows the natural grain, tone and texture of the material to become an integral part of the design.
TIMBER CARE
Every piece of timber is unique, with a natural character that continues to respond to its surroundings. As the piece lives within the interior, its timber will naturally evolve, adding to the story of the design over time. A little considered care will help preserve its beauty. Protect the surface from heat and moisture, attend to spills promptly, and avoid direct sunlight and sudden changes in temperature or humidity. With regular dusting and suitable furniture care products, its natural character can be preserved for years to come.
