Luxury Whole House Interiors

Mark Alexander Design Artistry delivers luxury whole house interiors where every room is designed and built to a single cohesive standard. Based in Melbourne and working across Australia for more than 30 years, the studio treats the home as one complete environment rather than a series of independent spaces. Entry, living, dining, kitchen, bedrooms and transitional areas are all resolved in relation to each other, with the same level of design intention and manufacturing precision carried throughout.

A home where the main living areas have been carefully considered but the private spaces feel inconsistent is not a luxury whole house interior. It is a partial one. True whole home design requires a single material palette, one furniture standard and one quality of finish from the first room a guest enters to the last space the household uses each day. Luxury interior designer, furniture designer and manufacturer Mark Alexander establishes that design language at the outset of every residential commission and holds it across every room without exception.

Bespoke Custom Furniture and Design From the First Room to the Last

Every item of luxury furniture in a Mark Alexander interior is custom made and bespoke, designed and built in his Melbourne studio for the specific room it will occupy. Luxury sofas, parquetry dining tables, bespoke bedheads, joinery, wall units and occasional pieces are all produced to one consistent manufacturing standard, ensuring the quality of craft is the same in every space throughout the home. Nothing is sourced at a lower specification to fill a secondary room.

Luxury interior designer Mark Alexander has delivered luxury whole house interiors across heritage Victorian and Art Deco homes in Melbourne, contemporary residences in Sydney, mid century modern properties in Brisbane and new architectural builds across Australia. Each project was resolved as a complete interior environment, with every room carrying the same level of design intention as the last.
